WarrantyProof: Receipts is designed to help you store proof of purchase, warranty dates, serial numbers, and claim notes in a private local-first app.
What we collect
We do not require an account. We do not run ads. We do not run third-party analytics or tracking. We do not automatically upload your receipts, warranty files, serial numbers, notes, or proof documents to a server.
Local-first storage
Warranty items, document metadata, reminder settings, and export history are stored locally on your device. Imported documents such as receipts, warranty cards, manuals, and serial number photos are stored locally in the app's Application Support directory on your device.
Receipts and proof documents stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them.
Camera, photos, and files
- Camera access is used only when you choose Take Photo to capture a receipt or warranty proof.
- Photos access is used only when you choose Choose Photo to import selected proof documents.
- Files access is used only when you choose Import File to attach a proof document.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, the app requests notification permission and schedules local notifications on your device for warranty expiry reminders.
Purchases
Premium purchases and subscriptions are handled by the app store where you installed WarrantyProof. On iPhone and iPad, purchases are handled by Apple. On Android, purchases are handled by Google Play Billing. We do not receive your payment card details.
Sharing and export
If you export or share a PDF or proof document, that action happens only when you choose it. Once you share a file outside the app, it is handled by the destination you selected.
Children's privacy
The app is not designed to collect personal data from children and does not include account creation, social features, or advertising.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The product direction remains local-first, with no account, no tracking, and no automatic server upload.
